Me & my boy! June 2010

Sorry, messed up the links on that last post & had to delete it.  Here it is again...hopefully the links work now.  The first video is a lesson (around 3'9+ at the end of the lesson & the second is from my last show.  Showing a "Power & Speed class in the "high" division in Las Colinas from this past weekend.  Unfortunately we barely breezed past the first jump & pulled the rail, so we didn't get to the speed portion, but we did get a 2nd & a 5th from that show (of course I don't have those on video!).  Anyways - here we are...always a work in progress.

Horse Show - 6/5/10

Showed  Atlas in the "High" division, and had a very successful show!  Best ever!  Even though it was a nasty, hot 100 degrees!!

OK...here's the rest of the family!!  The puppies had more fun than the boys!

We got over a foot of snow...broke all records!  Crazy amounts of snow...still sitting on the ground, which is another phenomenon altogether.  Usually we get *maybe* 2 inches the whole winter, and it melts the same day.  We got over a foot in 24-hours of non-stop snow, and the kids actually got to play in it all day today.  Not exactly Utah "powder" but the boys loved that you could easily make snowballs & snowmen.  Brian had the day off, and went to the barn with me to take snow pictures of Atlas & I.  I've wanted some pictures of he & I for a long time - still need some jumping pictures, but I'm so happy to have a few closeups!  I'll post the pics of the boys & dogs in the snow later tonight or tomorrow...work in progress!
