Day 27

Cade is going to KILL me for this...don't tell him!!! He thought I was just "testing" my lights, so he was being his usual goofy self (unless other people are around) - and I caught him! Hee hee hee.

Day 23

SPRING HAS SPRUNG IN FLOWER MOUND!

I was feeling a little giddy with all the beautiful spring flowers starting to bloom. My beautiful little cherry tree (like the ones in D.C.) was in full bloom today - so I had to just *capture* some beautiful spring blooms!

Day 17

Sad day today, had to say goodbye to mom, Tracy (Alex) & Lainey. I love it so much when people come, but just hated to see them leave. Anyways, some last-minute pics of the kid...such a sweet baby! She's freakin' adorable! The one with her playing with her feet has got to me my fav! Damn, she's cute!

Day 11

It's been a busy couple of days - with Grandma, Grandpa, Tracy & Lainey here...not much time to post! Cade had a tournament this weekend, and WON the championship!!! GO TWISTERS!!! We had to play 4 games today (Sunday) & we pulled it out in the 6th inning for the win. Cade was SO happy - as were the rest of us! Everyone missed the last game - because we took Grandpa back to the airport. :(

Day8

Not much time today (or yesterday, obviously!) - so I just grabbed a couple quick ones of Blake. He's my biggest ham - always willing to step in front of the camera!!!

Day 6

Big day for Cade today - he left for 5th grade camp! The whole 5th grade goes to Camp Classen in Oklahoma for a week - it's a rite of passage here in Texas, since it's their last year in elementary school. He's been looking forward to this trip since Kindergarten! He was assigned to a great cabin with fun dads & a good group of his friends. He's a happy little camper right now (literally)!!! Have fun Cade! We'll miss you!!!! (Of course...he & 3 of his baseball buds all took their gloves with them for a little practice during the down times!)

Day 4

Cade has a tournament all this weekend - so I got him to come "model" for me in his uniform after this morning's first pool game @ 8am - which we won, 10-6. We play again @ 4pm tonight.

Day 3

No time today to take any portraits...so here's a quick shot of what used to be my pretty piano room! Poor piano has now been shoved into the bay window - and my studio is born!

Day 2

Big day - two new backdrops & my FIRST attempt at high key! Not horrible, but still have a lot of practicing to do! Austin was SOOOOO thrilled to pose for me. Note the huge smile...NOT! Still, he's a pretty handsome dude.
